Mobitrons is a mobile application platform developed to facilitate connections between individuals
who
offer services or products, referred to herein as “Business Partners,”
and individuals who seek such services or products, referred to as “Customers.”
This Privacy Policy outlines the manner in which Mobitrons, hereafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or
“our,” collects, uses, stores, processes, and discloses personal
information provided by users of the Mobitrons mobile application (the App), which is available on
Android and iOS platforms.
This Policy is issued in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Digital Personal
Data
Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable laws of India.
By accessing or using the App and Services, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If
you
do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use our App
or Services.
When a Business Partner registers on the Mobitrons platform, they are required to submit personal
identification details including their full name, mobile number, and
residential address. Additionally, Business Partners must upload government-issued identification
documents such as Aadhaar card, ration card, and professional licenses,
which are used solely for the purpose of verification and onboarding. Customers registering on the
platform must provide their mobile number, address, and a description of
the service or product they require. This information is used to facilitate communication between
the
Customer and the Business Partner.
Mobitrons may also collect technical data automatically, including but not limited to device
information, operating system, browser type, IP address, usage patterns,
session logs, and location data, provided that location permissions have been granted by the user.
The personal data collected is used exclusively for the purposes of verifying and onboarding
Business
Partners, enabling the listing and discovery of services and products,
facilitating communication between users via IVR or other channels, improving the functionality and
performance of the application, and complying with legal obligations or
responding to lawful requests from government authorities.
Mobitrons does not engage in profiling, automated decision-making, or behavioral tracking for
advertising purposes.
By registering on the Mobitrons application, users consent to the collection, use, and processing of
their personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Where required by law, we may seek explicit consent for the processing of sensitive personal data.
Users
may withdraw their consent at any time by contacting our support team;
however, withdrawal of consent may affect the user's ability to access certain features of the
application. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your
personal data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
Mobitrons does not sell, rent, or trade user data to third parties. We may disclose user data to
other
users of the platform for the purpose of fulfilling service or product
requests, to third-party service providers engaged for backend operations, IVR connectivity,
document
verification, or analytics, and to government authorities, law
enforcement agencies, or regulators when required by law or pursuant to a lawful request. We do not
share data with advertisers or marketing agencies.
User data is retained for as long as the account remains active or as required by applicable laws.
Upon
account deactivation or deletion request, we will delete or anonymize
user data unless retention is mandated by law or necessary for dispute resolution. Mobitrons
implements
reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption,
secure servers, access controls, and periodic audits, to protect user data from unauthorized access,
alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, Mobitrons shall not
be held liable for any data breach, leakage, or unauthorized access resulting from cyberattacks,
third-party failures, or force majeure events.
Users acknowledge and accept that no system is entirely immune to security risks.
Subject to applicable laws, users have the right to access their personal data, request correction
or
updating of inaccurate data, withdraw consent for data processing,
and request deletion of personal data. Such requests may be submitted to support@mobitrons.com and
will
be processed in accordance with applicable regulations.
Mobitrons is not intended for individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly
collect
personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has
registered, we will take steps to delete such data.
The Mobitrons application may contain links to third-party websites or services. Mobitrons is not
responsible for the privacy practices or content of such third parties.
Users are advised to review the privacy policies of external sites before engaging with them.
Mobitrons reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted
on
the application and will become effective upon publication.
Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any
disputes arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be
subject to arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, under the provisions of the Arbitration and
Conciliation
Act, 1996. The courts in Chennai shall have exclusive
jurisdiction over any matters not resolved through arbitration.
